Project description
Sylhet ICT Group is an ICT solutions business and based in Sylhet, Bangladesh, they are an international focussed business solutions team. They needed a simple website to showcase their services and work they are doing, with search engine optimisation as a key element to their website.
We developed a number of backend modules for Sylhet ICT Group, so they can manage their contents and add further services they wanted to provide in the future, which included delivering IT training, consultancy to name some of their services.
Our choice of using CodeIgniter which is a powerful PHP framework with a very small footprint, which allows us to create full-featured web applications. It allows us to structure the framework, so that future developments can be done easily. Much of the CodeIgniter configuration is done by convention, for instance putting models in a "models" folder. There are still a number of configuration options available, through scripts in the "config" folder.
